Erin Riordan is the owner of Sweet Lily Salon and Spa in Ballard. She is also a master stylist and colorist who has been doing hair for 22 years. In Seattle, Erin is known as a pioneer of the organic hair care and skin care movement. She originally served an apprenticeship under the supervision of Allen and LeVonne Curtis, at Tangles Salon, in Vancouver, Washington. Both of these stylists are renown in the hair world, both having been platform artists and educators for Toni and Guy.

Erin also took on a 4 year turn in New York, and worked with some of the top European stylists available there. She trained in all manners or French and European hair cutting techniques, as well as the latest coloring applications, and wedding styling. During her stay, she taught advanced training to a team of apprentices, and hosted several classes and workshops

Erin has also done extensive work in photo shoot, runway, and modeling productions. It is in New York that she became a master stylist and color correction expert. She is naturally, a bit of a perfectionist, and it shows in the exceptional quality and fine detail of her work. She has worked with, and trained stylists, in Portland, Oregon, Vancouver, Washington, Huntington, and Merrick, New York, and Seattle, Washington.

Currently Erin is using her master skills in her salon in Seattle. She has a passion for all things Organic, especially in regard to her work environment. Over the course of her 22 years, she has personally seen the damage that can be done by non-organic products used for beauty. From makeup and skin care, to hair care products and color. The toxicity of these products has negatively affected her health personally, and several of her friends and coworkers over the years, with varying levels of severity. She has constantly searched for an alternative to these toxic chemicals, over the years, testing every new professional product available, in search of one that would meet her needs Organically and her perfectionism professionally.

Erin finally found the answer in Organics, and only uses Organic hair products, skin care products, hair color and perms, and cleaning products in her salon, and at home. Upon doing so, all of her health problems are improved 100% and she continues to follow this regime and pass it on to her clients. She strives to educate anyone who is interested on the benefits of such a lifestyle, and hopes to make a difference for many through her Organic business practices.
